Steyr needs a bipod

    I have a few Steyrs but I'm not familuar with the "T" type sling loops ... what kind of Steyr have you got?

    I have the Pachmyer "quick detach" swivel loops on my Mod 96 SBS. I don't see how you will attach a bipod as there is really no stud. I think you would have to replace the front with a standard swivel stud.

    Tis not mine. A friend got one as a gift. It's a police Tactical, has a synthetic stock with flush mounted sling loop receptacles. These slotted receptacles receive the "T" on the formed loop. Press down and rotate 90* and there it stays. Stock is not very stiff material seems it would be questionable to drill and tap into.

    If it is ssg pII they make an adapter for the rail under the stock(9.99)The stocks are very flimsy on all steyrs Need to get something from mcmillen(very expensive)
