Steyr needs a bipod
Any ideas on how to mount an Harris bipod to a Steyr rifle with the "T" type sling loops that fit into a spring loaded recepticle on the stock. It has the synthetic stock, seems a bit flimsy.

I have the Pachmyer "quick detach" swivel loops on my Mod 96 SBS. I don't see how you will attach a bipod as there is really no stud. I think you would have to replace the front with a standard swivel stud. 0 -
Tis not mine. A friend got one as a gift. It's a police Tactical, has a synthetic stock with flush mounted sling loop receptacles. These slotted receptacles receive the "T" on the formed loop. Press down and rotate 90* and there it stays. Stock is not very stiff material seems it would be questionable to drill and tap into.
