Marlin Model 94 ?? Question
Is there such thing as a Marlin model 94 in 25/20 caliber and if so where could I find some info on it?

Yes, there is; was--whatever. Made from 1894 to 1934. Prior to 1906 was designated the Model 1894; thereafter the 94. It was produced in both solid frame and takedown versions in calibers 25-20, 32-20, 38-40, 44-40. It had a 10 shot tubular magazine, and a 24 inch round or octagon barrel. Weighed about 7 lbs. Open rear sight, bead front sight. Plain straight grip stock and forearm, but also available with a pistol grip stock (less common). Today's values are, in 95% $1,550, 80% $1,000, 60% $625, 40% $400, 10% $325. So--even in pretty bad shape it's worth a new medium priced revolver! Add 25% for a saddle ring carbine. Add 10% for .44-40 Caliber. Add 40% for Baby Carbine. Add 100% for Musket. 0 -

marsye: marlin also made a 1894 CL (classic ) in 25-20, 218 bee and 32-20 from 1988 to 1993 same basic rifle as the 1894 but you can find these for $400 to $600 depending on condition 0
