AR15 upper info PLEASE!!!!!

HELP! Got an AR upper, don't know who makes it. I was told that it was an Armalite, but they say no! On the rt. side of the carrying handle in front of the rear sight, there is a "P" and a 1/4" in front of that, there is an "A". On the rt. side of the front sight ramp on the "crossover bar" there is "D99" and inside a circle "RI" and in front of that the number "2". I'd appreciate any info.   Will look tomorrow.I think these were from a Phillipine company but I am fuzzy now and winding down.A1 or A2?cpermd
