does anyone know what the rate of twist is in a ruger mk 2 model 77 target 220 swift?

  Speer Reloading manual #12 list ruger model 77V at a 1-16inch twist. You could check this by taking a tight fitting cleaning jag w/patch and rod. Place a mark on rod near handle, push into barrel untill the mark has rotated one turn. Mark rod again at muzzle. Remove and measure distance from front of jag to mark. This distance will be the rate of twist. One turn in so many inches.
