  Be careful using non Henry mags. I tried both after-market and AR 7 Industries mags and after 2 weeks of tweaking, they still jam and totally ruined the plastic surface around the barrel because of failures to chamber, failures to eject, failures to feed... I gave up and ordered 3 more factory 8 rounder from Henry.
