Tomcat .32 woes
I've not had a lot of luck recently with my guns. I just bought a .32 Tomcat Beretta. After only 100 rounds thru it, the safety stopped working. Mechanically, it worked; however, there was no "click" to the safety lever. I took the gun home, and took a good, long look, and saw that the grips were a little loose. I then saw that in the safety lever, there is a little pin that is spring loaded that fits into a hole in the safety lever. That presses against a post, and keeps the safety in position and adds the "click".FOR THE LIFE OF ME, I CAN'T GET THE DOGGONE THING TO STAY IN THE HOLE AND PUT THE GRIPS ON AT THE SAME TIME!Any help? Advice (other than let the guys at the shop do it?)

I would send it back to Beretta. To be honest, I am not familiar with the Tomcat pistols, but I would think that the grips should be able to be removed without springs coming out. 0 -
It's a safety issue. Let Beretta fix it. It could go off safe in your pocket or holster and be a hazard to your lower parts. I have an old Spanish 25 where the grip keeps the disconnector in place. 0
