looking for info on savage 110 in 7mm-08.next month they will offer a model 11 (youth). anyone know of this model as far as accuracy , reliability etc............. coonsign on fence:"salesman welcome, dog food is expensive"

I have a savage 110 in .270 win. Bought it used for 125$ ten years ago. Very reliable and very accurate. Had to have a gunsmith lighten the trigger pull to about 3 1/2 lbs. The original pull was more than his gauge would register ( 14 lbs!), probably why I got it for 125$. Have never had any other problem. Its not pretty but it shoots real pretty. 0 -
Just try to stay away from stained hardwood stocked guns,get one in walnut(not walnut stained),and you will be very happy!The 110 is all bid`ness!!.218 0 -
