Mossberg 695
I have one of these slug guns and am impressed with its accuracy potential. Unfortunately, the trigger on it is sooo bad, that it makes the gun very un-user friendly. Anybody out there know who can fix or how to fix that trigger? Being a fairly specialized gun (& probably not too popular), nobody seems to offer anything for it, either.....

I don't know anybody specifically to refer you to for that particular model shotgun, but (to use a tired cliche) any competent gunsmith should be able to help. The principles of smoothing and lightening the pull of triggers remain the same for most guns and consist of stoning and polishing surfaces which contact each other, such as triggers and sears; and reducing the strength of or replacing springs. There are specialists for many of the more popular guns such as 1911s, 10/22s, and S&W revolvers, but you'll probably have to retain the services of a general practitioner. 0 -
I believe there was a safety recall on earlier guns of this model. Can't remember the serial # cut off or even what the problem was so don't know if the trigger was involved. You might want to contact Mossberg to be on the safe side. People I know who have these speak very highly of the accuracy. 0
