Load data for .224 moly coated bullets
Does anybody have any good load data on this type of bullet? I just coated a slew of 55 grain FMJ's and would like to load them up for some testing in my Ar-15. Any data that you can pass along for any style .224 diameter bullets would be appreciated. I also have a brand spanking new barrel for my T/C Encore in 22/250, so any data for that cartridge would also be appreciated. Thanks in advance..

bigdog1,The "general" rule of thumb when using mollycoated bullets is +1 grain powder to your current load ... in my 20" barrel, 1 in 9 AR-15 I use 23.5 grains of BL-C(2) with un-coated bullets, using mollycoated bullets I need 24.5 grains to achieve the same velocity because the molly is a lubericant thus less friction and slides down the barrel easier ... you will hear many opinions about molly, but IMHO, its good stuff.
