Did I miss the boat?
I've really been looking for a MAK-90, but all the ones I come across, the dealers want a ridiculous amount for. I'm so fed up, I'm about to just buy an SAR-1 and be done with it. I saw an SAR at a gun show this weekend and I passed on it, now I'm regretting it. It was $379 + tax, new in box with one mag. And the fininsh on the wood actually looked GOOD!!! The guy will be at the next gun show in two weeks, so if he still has it, I'm probably gonna buy it. Opinions?-Marcus

$375 is pretty good compared to the gunshow I was at a couple of weeks ago and from what I've been seeing at other gunshows. The guy had it way overpriced at $550.[This message has been edited by GreenLantern (edited 03-11-2002).] 0 -

personally i think it's too much. Try auctions from "Youngsguns" they have had Romanian SAR-1's new in box with one hi-cap for $279They are good people, just a tad slow on shipping (at least in my case). Not sure how much they charge now, but that was it last time I checked.

If you are getting a good price, make sure it takes the Hi cap. mags. Some will only take a single row mag, not the staggered hi. cap. mags. This may explain what seems to be a good deal that some have. 0
