double the lead on 22 LR round

Friend at work showed me this 22LR round. The brass was the length of a 22 short, and the lead (bullet) was double the length of a normal bullet. The entire round seem to be the normal length of a 22LR round. What is this, and for what was if designed for. Currious minds want to know, Thanks.

  All of the SSS ammo I've sold has been 60gr, not 68gr. Thats not to say that they haven't made a second variation, but the SSS has previously only been 60gr. I've got a lot of guys that seem to really like how it performs.

  I STAND CORRECTED....IT IS 60 GRS.I USE THEM FOR PEST CONTROL ON A GOLF COURSE.
