Veper Ak

Does anyone know anything about a Veper AK. Saw one at a gun show in .308. Are they any good? Looks like a sporterized Ak with traditional style wood stock.

  Supposed to be made on an RPK style receiver so it'll be stronger than the receiver on most other AKs.
