where to get 1" military sling, but BLACK?

I found a 1 1/4" black sling at a gunshow this weekend from DPMS.

Looking for a standard type of military sling (like the one at the link below). 1" width and matte black in color. Would it work to take a brown one and cover it with black shoe polish? Shoe polish is not the way to go. Use leather dye, which can be had at any Tandy or other leather goods supply store. Even so, some will tend to rub off. After it is dyed rub it down with a good leather oil or cream and rub down with clean rags. That will help to set the dye and wipe off the excess residue. 0 -

He Dog is right. I would use Neat Foots oil after dyeing it black. This will set the dye and should both soften the leather and keep it from leaching onto your clothes.

Shootist3006 ~ Thanks for the recommendation. Already done the dyeing part, just needed something to seal it with. Do you know where I can get any 'gray matter'? I ended up dyeing the wrong sling so now I'll have two black ones. 0 -
