I just bought a Browning Hi- Power 9MM silver chrome NIB with 2 pre ban clips. Just wondering what retail price should be or did I get clipped?

Looked in a number of reference books and haven't found the specific date....but it was sometime in the late 80's or early 90's.

Thanks Rembrandt, I appreciate the information. If you have any info as to how the serial numbers relate to the Belgium manufactured guns I would apppreciate it. The only Ref. manual I have is the Blue Book and it doesn't cover what I need to know.

Brownings website will give you a complete breakdown of serial number to manufacturing years and how to figure them out, closest date you can get is year though.
