Progressive Reloader
Hey Experts,I have a RCBS Rockchucker and have become a modest loader for my various pistol and rifle bullets. I am starting to get more time on my hands and would like to get a progressive loader for my pistol loads. (I've been trying to knock out batches of 1000+ and it gets old with the 'ol single stage)I hear that Dillion's Blue Press is one of the best, and that Lee makes a very good progressive loader as well. Since I already have a Rockchucker, would adding that RCBS progressive "Piggyback II, or III" be a good add on? Does anybody have one/or know if they are good? Can I use the same dies from the single stage Rockchucker into that Piggyback? Or would I be better off going with a progressive only system like Dillon and Lee makes?- Thanks, all comments appreicated and welcomed!poker_fish

Hey Poker, I dont know about piggie backs, I got me a dillon square deal about 8 years ago and It's great but It only loads pistol cart. I do not want to load rifle on a progressive. personal taste, 0 -
Poker, I hestitate to guess how many rds (easily 100K+) I loaded on the Rockchucker before I finally broke down and bought a Dillon 650. Although I picked up tooling to load some rifle calibers, I find I still do all that on the RCBS . . . simply don't do it in large enough batches to justify all the time getting it set up. Plus, one still needs to lubricate the cases before sizing and w/ the auto feed, that makes a damn mess. Quality wise, service wise, I cannot say enough good about Dillon, and I am a very critical person. If I had known then what I know now, I would have invested in the Dillon many, many years ago . . . for pistol ammo, it's the next best best thing to getting it for free. 0
