Ranger +P+
Went to my local gun shop on Saturday and picked up a box of winchester Ranger +P+. I have a glock 26 and I know that they don't like +P much, let alone +P+. should i return it, or would it be ok to use it strictly for self defense...10-20 rounds max?If I were caught in a situation where i would need them, having to replace the gun afterwards would be a small price to pay, just don't want the thing to blow up on me if I shoot that stuff. Thanks,Alex

If you are in doubt about the gun handling them I would not shoot any. I know my ruger will handle them. You could also contact the manufacturer and ask them if they think the gun will shoot them.

Thanks, I think im gonna take it back and get some of the regular ranger ammo, or something else. Can't believe I didn't see the +P+ before i bought the damn thing.thanks again,Alex 0 -
That is some of the BEST defense ammo that you can buy. Have no fears about your Glock " being able to handle it," Your Glock will handle it just fine. Recoil may be a little heavier than you are used to with some of the other wimpy factory loads. But the bottom line is that your Glock will handle it , if you can.... 0
