Tear Gas Cartrides
I came across an old package of tear gas cartridges that were made in West Germany.They are 22 cal. They are 10 of them in a little round cannister. Manufactured by Dynamit Nobel A.G. Troisdorf. I was wondering if I should buy them.Are they legal to have? It looks like they are old. Would they be any collector intrest in these? Thanks.

Have seen these before, were to be marketed to the British police for riot use.Problem is they release immeidiatly upon firing affecting the shooter as well as the target.i.e are designed to be used with a gas mask by the firer. I would think they are extremely collectable as my sources say production was very limited, and discontinued awhile ago. 0 -

I have some tear gas cartridges I bought in Germany in 1962. Some are RWS Knall 38shorts with with red plastic "bullets". I also have a tin of Alfred Nobel Flobert Platz Patronen and some RWS22 gas cartridges. What is the value of these. If they have collectors'valuewhere does one contact cartridge collectors? 0 -
knifeuser, these are definitely of interest as a collectible, although not especially valuable. Probably these are 6mm rather than .22? If there are more than you wish available, I would be interested in purchasing if the price is not too dear.
