Yes, Tikka is a Sako product. Sako markets the Tikka line in the US as a "no-frills" gun to compete in the mid-price market against companies like Remington. The Tikkas are exceptionally well made. They are not finished like a Sako, but they are several hundred dollars less expensive. I sell a lot of both Tikka and Sako, and can say that the Tikka rifles are evey bit as shootable as the Sako product. The actions are different. The Tikka does have dovetails on the receiver, but Sako ringmounts do NOT fit - you have to get Tikka ringmounts. OR, the top of the receiver is drilled/tapped for Weaver bases.Note that Sako has put all left-handed production into the Tikka line. When you visit the Tikka website, understand that not all the options and calibers you see are available in the US. The stainless/laminate gun they show has been available in Europe but wont be available here until this summer.Contact us via the website link below if you are interested in an All-Weather.
