Locked threads ???

What criteria is used to lock various threads?Just curious.Thanks.

  Generally Capt. Kirk locks them at about 10 replies or so. When they have been thoroughly answered and more of the same is just taking up space.

  I've noticed that too. Sometimes though, some of them get good and have a lot of information that isn't repetetive. there was one on AK 47's recently that I was learning a lot from, but it got locked

  The choosing a less than $1000 overunder thread shouldn't have been locked.

  I agree, alot of the conversations are being cut short. Let them go on a bit longer.

  Bill wont lock the thread like that on you. You do know who Bill is dont you? 7mm wont lock a thread on you either, yes, our very own 7mm is a moderator too. Look around.

  If you use Loctite they should be fine.
