Beretta Elite II failure to extract

I have been experiencing about 1 out of 10 failures to extract with my Beretta 9mm Elite II. I have 25000 rds thru it and keep it clean between range visits. I've replaced the extractor spring and inspected the extractor under a magnifying glass and it looks fine. It happens with factory ammo as well as reloads. I just ordered a new extractor and will see if this remedies the problem. Anyone else out there experiencethis with their Beretta?
