Try ups.com...they have a shipping calculator on their site which will give you the shipping rates based on the weight and distance to be shipped. 0 -
FEDEX also has a website and rate estimator. Rates are comparable to UPS. However, FEDEX requires that any firearm be "disabled"; their regs define how that should be done.Neal 0 -
Check out the Postal Service. They should be the reasonable. 0 -
Post Office is by far the cheapest under 6 # if you can legally use it.cpermd 0 -
I hate to disagree with everyone. But to ship a long gun The @#$#%& U.P.S. is the cheapest way to go.

Sorry ATF, but for me to ship, the USPS is by far less expensive then "brown".I suppose it depends on where you live. I'm on the west coast, and I do a comparison everytime I sell anything and I've saved my customers a bundle by shipping USPS and telling that package-smashing brown company to kiss my a**. 0 -
I would like to agree ,I hate UPS but the facts are shipping long guns by the Post Office is much more expensive .Post Office insurance is very high.I took a rifle to the P.O. they wanted $18.00 ,UPS was $8.00 and change. This was from Maine to Texas with the same insurance. I have checked this more than once.Wish I could agree with you.

Shipping is usually determined by weightand distance(zip code to zip code). All haveweb sites for shipping rates www.usps.com www.ups.com are a couple. I dont use Fed x.They also show insurance rates in same siteswith shipping fees. Best to ship to hisFFL licenced dealer for transfer to him.Have him send you a INK SIGNED copy of theFFL licence and get a reciept for the gunjust to be safe. Interstate gun transactionscan be bitchy so play it safe. 0
