INFO ON BINGHAM 22 LR?
I have a Bingham PPS/ 22 L.R. and was wondering what the value is on this and if it is known as good brand of gun. It has a wooden stock, 30 round clip, and a heat shield for the barrel. Any info would be helpful, thanks

Your gun is listed in the Blue Book. You didn't specify the condition (which is very important to determining value) so I'll give you a spread: It says, 100% $250, 95% $195, 80% $145, 60% $125. Most had a beechwood stock, but if yours is walnut add 15% to the above prices. Sorry; I have no personal experience with these guns, and am unable to tell you if they're good, bad, or indifferent. Interestingly, I've seen the Bingham name used on some .22s manufactured in the Philippines; but the book says yours was made in Georgia. The Georgia company went out of business in 1985. 0 -
Thanks for the help. Sorry I forgot to say what the condition was. Thanks again 0 -
Miller, do you by chance still have this gun? I'm listing some magazines that were made by Binham... If the gun would fit the magazines I have I might just try to buy one instead of selling all 10 of the magazine I have. 0 -
Bambihunter: I have both the PPS and the magazines you possess. They do not fit the PPS, only the Ruger 10/22. The mags for the PPS have a "wing" on them.

Thanks for your reply Hairy, I'm just curious, because they don't fit the 10/22 either... Several members said the adaptor could be filed down, but I haven't tried that. 0
