Winchester USA Ammo. Most 100rnd boxes are around $11.00 per box at Wal-Mart. 0 -
Go to http://www.natchezss.com/ There cci/blazer ammo is 4.85 for 50 rounds and their Sellier & Bellot 9mm is 4.99 for 50 rounds. I have a beretta 92fs and a ruger in 9mm and the CCI works fine in them. I have never used the Sellier & Bellot 9mm ammo but i ordered a case on saterday. I posted a topic asking people if the S&B ammo was any good and every one said it would work in my beretta 92fs. I know what you mean about the wolf ammo and their steel cases. I shot about 50 rounds through my beretta and i just did not like the idea of hard steel. I don't want to wear out a 500 dollar gun so i can save 50 cents a box on ammo. I hope you like you Beretta 92FS i only have 4 handguns and it is my fav. 0 -
Rob3448, the S&B is good ammo. Clean and reliable as well as reloadable. Centerfire systems has it for around $110-$120/cs if memory serves. Other than that, wolf is the best deal per round but some people have an aversion to the laquer on the cases. 0 -
I have to agree with 110. My Ruger loves the WalMart Winchester ammo, and at $10-11 per 100, you can't beat it (or at least I can't!)My ruger eats about 200 rounds per week right now and has yet to complain. Besides, it's made right here in the good 'ole USA. I also like to support WalMart because I appreciate them not giving in to the anti gun crowd by still selling shotguns, rifles, and ammo. 0 -
Ammunition StorePlenty of cheap 9mm ammunition. May I suggest Sellier & Bellot at $115.95 for 1000 rds here. 0 -
My ruger has shot hundreds of rounds of cci blazers from walmart at $5.86 a box. A downturn however is that they cannot be reloaded. They do however have some for $5.96 ba box that are reloadable. I also purchased 1000 rounds of Olympic ammo, made in Greece, from Sportsman Guide for $99.00. It has performed flawlessly in my Ruger P95, and also In my Marlin Camp 9. 0 -
I hate to bear bad news, but the range I fire at won't let you use blazer because it has a history of exploding guns. I have also heard this from other sources. It may be a rare event, but I like my body working right, so I don't use it. I've seen a handgun that was blown up by it. Don't know why it would do that, but too many people have told me that.I would be happy to hear from others on this subject.Eric 0 -
Thats the first Ive heard of any problems with Blazer Ammo! Works fine in mine and Ive shot alot of it!! Maybe you oughta start shooting at another range. Sounds like a bunch of Bull to me. People keep telling me the sky is falling, but damm I haven't been hit by any meteor,s yet! 0 -
The ranges I have heard of that don't allow blazer is due to the aluminum cases. They like to find and reload or sell the brass we leave laying on the floor. Plus the Blazer stuff takes time to sort out and pitch. Has nothing to do with quality or safety factors. 0 -
I will offer the real life experience with the cci blazer. It does malfunction DUE TO the aluminum cases. they are weak and prone to spliting. The heavy charge loads like 357 mag, have expanded in the chamber of guns where I had to beat them out from the back, ALL 6. I havn't had a gun explode, but I won't use it no matter how cheap it is. The S&B and wolf are far to cheap and available to set myself up for a cci problem. just my .02 0
