will 8mmx57 fit my Kar98

Picked up a Kar98 a few weeks ago and was going to pick up some ammo today at a gunshow, but didn't know exactly what I should be looking for. I know the kar98 is 7.92, but isn't it commonly refered to as 8mm? ThanksGL

  When in doubt ask.yes the 7.92x57, 8x57, and 8mm Mauser are the same cartridge
