Remchokes what year ?

does anyone know what year, remington came out with the screw - in rem chokes. i recently purchased an 870 wingmaster from a pawn shop for 225.00. it is the wingmaster not the express. the blueing and wood are in excellent shape, just curious as to a time frame, when the gun was made. it sure does look nice, trying to figure out how old it is. it also has the mag reciever.. 2 3/4 or 3 in mag, if that helps. tried remington web site, couldn't find an answer. thanks, geo

  RemChokes became standard in 1987.
