Full Auto Devices?
I would like to get a full auto device for my SKS and 10/22. The ones I've seen are; Hell Fire, Tec Trigger, AS-IV. What are the pros and cons of these or others out there? Some say they are interchangable, which one would be best?

I put a Tac Trigger on my 10/22 and it didn't work. It also marred-up the trigger guard. 0 -
Just learn how to bump fire, no trigger needed, no money wasted. Although you probably won't be able to bump fire your 10/22.Bump Fire:Hold the weapon by the hand guard at waist level. Insert one finger into the trigger guard. Without moving your trigger finger pull the weapon forward pressing the trigger against your finger while keeping your finger stationary. Keep pressing forward as the weapon fires. The recoil coupled with your forward pull will create a very fast shimmy which will allow you to empty a full 30 round magazine in just a few seconds.Full auto fire will get old eventually. You waste a lot of money on ammo and hit practically nothing.Munkey
Don't worry about the bullet with your name on it, worry about the fragmentation grenade addressed 'To Occupant'.[This message has been edited by thesupermonkey (edited 02-19-2002).]0 -
Good suggestion! Is this the tricky monkey? 0 -
no its not, i picked it up after 2 mags for my ak, but like munkey said, it gets old when you cant hit something sitting 10 feet from you and even if your using wolf, it still gets expensive.....fun for showing off to the ladies though, although they tend to like my nice shiney inox beretta better........=-) 0 -
Years and years ago I thought I wanted something full auto, so I went to Las Vegas on vacation. I shot the MP5, AK-47 & M-16 ... in one afternoon and several hundred dollars (mostly in ammo). I realized I didn't want one after all! Dont get me wrong, they were a "blast" to shoot ... and unlike using the "bump method" quite controlable ... but when a 30 round mag only lasts 2-3 seconds you can burn up some serious cash fast ... and to really enjoy it you need lots of mags!Since full auto isn't legal in Kansas ... I'm glad I got it out of my system, it was fun, and I would highly reccomend it to anyone contemplating a select-fire weapon!

Hay kimber, I have heard about the place in Vegas but I could never get directions or the actual name of the range. Can you help?Jim 0 -
Hey Lobo, Check out some local ranges. I'm not sure about your state, but in AZ some ranges have full auto weapons to rent.

As I recall, Shooters World in Las Vegas is the range that rents fully-automatic firearms. The address is:Shooters World 7350 West Cheyenne Avenue Las Vegas, NV 89129 Any cab can take you there. The hundreds of military-style firearms on display will appeal to most gun nuts. 0
