or you could make them from 405 Win Basic brass from Bellcut to 2.5", anneal, bring neck size down in 2 steps, F/L size in 35 Win die, Final trim and chamfer 0 -
Those 2 necking-down steps require a special die. Try www.buffaloarms.com for some ready made out of 30-40 brass, for a LOT less. Bertrams' brass was about all there was available in some obsolete brass a few years ago, but things have changed. Heck, even Hornady is making 405 shells now. 0 -

This should be your choice of last resort, as their prices are generally sky+25%, but when there's no other choice, they do have more reloading components / factory ammo in exotic / discontinued calibers than anyone else in the country. 0 -
