Diesel Dummy
May be a dumb question, but...Does the wood handguard come off the gas tube & how do you get the gas cut-off button out?I think there's a Yugo 59/66 hiding under this ball of cosmoline.

    I wish my memory was better than it is. There is a little lever on the right side of the rear sight, flip it up, its hard to do sometimes, when you get done doing that you should be able to get the handguard off, but I cant remember exactly how, its easy though. Let me know what you get after that and we'll take it from there.

    Thanks! Didn't want to break the wood - already found out about the "second part" - it bounced off the wall.
