HP accuracy

Anyone ever compared the accuracy of hollow nose bullets to other designs? Any detectable difference? Can any solid conclusions be drawn?

  Pistol - no appreciable difference.Rifle - a definite improvement. Note that most match grade target bullets are hollow point!

  I find that JHP ammo in general seem to be more accurate because most of the weight of the bullet is in the back of the bullet making is balistically more coeficient, I think I said that right, if not you get the point huh.Thats why nosler has those plastic tip bullets, to give more penitration that a HP, but be lighter in the front than a FMJ so it will be more accurate.
