CCI Velocitor .22 LR ammo

I was in the sporting goods store the other day and it was BUSY. I noticed a new-looking type of CCI .22 LR ammo called "Velocitor". I couldn't read the box because it was locked behind glass and it was dark in the case. The store was too busy for me to ask an employee to open the case. I didn't plan on buying any at the time. Does anyone know what sets this ammo apart from other .22 LR or why it is unique? Does anyone know what the practical application for this type of ammo is?
