jodividus:1. We need to know what the markings on the barrel are. Is there an oval with a crown on top and the letters "ELG" inside of the oval on the blue part of the barrel and/or on the silver part of the barrel that goes into the receiver???????2. What are the markings ---- if any slightly to the left of the bolt release button on the receiver??????

The prefix X is for the standard 16 gauge, the prefix S is for the Sweet Sixteen. Seems as though you have a standard 16. Not nearly as desirable as a Sweet Sixteen.
