sweet 16 questions
How can you tell if its a Belgium, if its not marked on the receiver, its only marked Browning, and Sweet Sixteen and what is the X for in front of the serial number. The one i'm looking at has a crown on the barrel with letters inside, is that significant. if someone can answer questions, i'll email you. thank a lotdavek@sisqtel.net

jodividus:1. We need to know what the markings on the barrel are. Is there an oval with a crown on top and the letters "ELG" inside of the oval on the blue part of the barrel and/or on the silver part of the barrel that goes into the receiver???????2. What are the markings ---- if any slightly to the left of the bolt release button on the receiver?????? 0 -
The prefix X is for the standard 16 gauge, the prefix S is for the Sweet Sixteen. Seems as though you have a standard 16. Not nearly as desirable as a Sweet Sixteen. 0 -
