looking for info on mauserlein

Does anyone know where I could find information on an austrian mauserlein 22 rifle? It was my fathers and it says mauserlein vienna austria arsenal.many thanksKeith keithh@hostetlermgt.com

  I'm going to boost you back to the top, because I'd also like to know the answer. Frankly, I don't know--but some speculation: I believe that mauserlein means, "Mauser Line" and that you have a Mauser product made in Austria, similar to a Dodge made in Canada.

  Lein & chen added to the end of German words makes them dimunitives. Seems like Mauserleinwould simply be little Mauser. (just a wild guess)

  Still no luck. I attempted to have a replacement bolt made as mine is rusted and broken.Thanks for the boosts.
