You would probably get better responses to your question if you took it to the "Ask the Experts" forum.

There are a lot of things I am not aware of, but I am not aware of any "rose" model Ithaca in either hammer or hammer-less configurations. The Ithaca Baker was the first hammer gun in production from 1883 to 1887 and was available in 10 and 12 gauge.Next was the New Ithaca Gun in production from 1888 to 1915. It was available in 10, 12, 16 and 20 (very rare) gauges. The last of the hammer guns was the New Double Bolted Hammer Gun, in production only during 1915---but records indicate that "remaining stock" was sold as late as 1919. It was available in 10, 12, 16 and 20 (very rare) gauges. In any of these models anything "C" grade or above is seldom seen and requires an expert appraisal with gun in hand----most particularily the extreemly rare 20 gauges.

Like to thank you for help in trying to find the value of this gun. Took it to a local gunsmith in the area told me it was had little value. Then ask if I would sell it to him.(offer me 75 for it lucky me) Next found a expert told me that there was only nine made. The value is a little more then 75!!!! Thanks,Bad Boy Bart
