    The keys to its value areDoes it have a preban receiver?Does it have USGI parts?Barrel?Oprod?Bolt?Trigger group?Sights?Answer those and you can be given a close idea.cpermd

    klou812, If its just the standard production model $1000-$1200 ... unless there is something special about it you didn't tell us, such as; Stainless barrel, NM barrel or other NM parts you may be able to get more ... or if its a Super Match, thats a whole other story. cpermd! Pay attention New in Box, post-ban ... or was it edited after your post? Does Springfield use USGI parts? I thought they made their own?

    yes as far as i know its a standard prodution rifle, no nm markings on anything i can see. the rifle was made by springfield armory,as well as the extras(scope mount,rings and cleaning kit) and of course the mags.also scope mount and rings are still in there packing.thanks, kent

    cpermdI hadn't thought about having a standard word files all ready to paste ... and your right, most "value questions" leave out that info as well as a good description of condition ... a lot of times I dont respond just because I dont feel like asking those questions over & over ... at least one of us is thinking ahead!
