Chokes on a Beretta 390
I just bought a Beretta 390 and it came with two additional choke tubes, but I can't find anywhere in the manuals what choke tube comes installed. Plus i can't tell the difference between the two additional choke tubes. I don't know which one is full or modified or what??? Plus, would it be worth it to buy a hastings turkey choke tube in super-full if i'm going turkey hunting???Thanks for all the free advice....Ya'll are awesome,Jason

Check with Brownells.com for gunsmith prices and availabilty of chokes. Their catalog is a god send. An inside micrometer would tell you what choke is what. Many reloadering buffs have these micrometers, and some gunsmiths. 0 -
The field grade 390 I had came with full, modified and improved cylinder tubes. If you look on the end of the tubes there will be notches. 1=full, 2=improved modified, 3=modified, 4=improved cylinder, and 5=cylinder.DB
The more people I meet, the more I like my dogs.0 -
Thanks alot that makes sense. But my gun can with the full already in it(one notch) but the two that came extra both have 3 notches.....why send two modified chokes...????Thanks againjay 0 -
They were mixed up at the gun store. Tell the owner and he will probably find the correct one in the other beretta box. If not, tell him to give you the correct one out of a benelli box, they are the same chokes. 0
