The plastic gun trend. I haven't heard anything about them bad, only thing I know is that they feel really good, but the sights are really funny, haven't shot one thought. If you like the lightweight polymer lowers one full size duty worthy guns you may also check out the following.GlocksHK USPHS2000Springfield Armory XDSmith and Wesson 99Walther P99Sig Sauer Sig Pro SP2340

The m40 is a great gun, very accurate, doesn't kick much, plus imo it's the best looking polymer gun out there, bar none. However, I recently sold mine. There is currently no importer for the steyr line and no one currently to perform warranty service on them. Supposedly, there is a new importer in the works, but nothing definite. It hurt to sell it, but when they become generally available again with someone to do work on them. I will not hesitate to buy the m9 and the m40, even the m357 when and if they come out to.

Ya, I heard that the people who owned the property they were on kicked them off, and they went out of business.

Absolutely untrue. Steyr is very much in business. Dynamit Nobel is their new US importer, including the M-series pistols.

Had one since they came out. Great size, weight, capacity, feel, performance. Yep, love it.
