Rossi puma lever action .44 mag Good gun?
I have heard that the rossi lever guns were good. But yesterday I saw several posts that were bad about rossi handguns. Does somebody else build the rifles for them? Thanks.

Have both a .357 and .44 Rossi Puma lever action carbine. Bought them used from an estate of an avid cowboy shooter three years ago and have put hundreds of rounds (factory & reloads) through them with no problems at all - no idea how many rounds went through before I bought them, but know it had to be quite a few. Mine are very accurate up to 100 yards and show no sign of wearing out. They are not of a finer fit and finish quality of a Marlin or Winchester but they are good little rifles. I will have to say that the newer ones with the "safety" are a piece of junk in my opinion. I would buy another used or NIB older Puma if I had the need but would first try to find a good use Winchester or Marlin at the same price range.

I HAVE A ROSSI IN 45 COLT WITH THE BRASS FRAME AND OCT. STAINLESS STEEL BBL. GREAT LOOKER AND SHOOTS GOOD TOO. NICE ADDITION TO THE PAIR OF COLT NEW SERVICE REVOLVERS IN NICKLE WITH IVORY GRIPS IN 45 COLT. ONE IN HIP HOLSTER, THE OTHER IN THE HUKELBERRY LEFT SIDE.
