looking for a place to buy 1911 front sight..........

Besides Brownells, where can I find a large selection of sights for a 1911 .45. I am looking for a front sight with a dovetail of .300 and a heigth of .275 to .280?

  There's Millett, but Brownell's handles much of their line.

  I am going with a blank dovetail sight from Brownells. It is easier in the long run to configure the sight to my specs. Brownells don't always enclude the diamensions with the front sights and it makes it a little harder to choose the right one.

  You might look at Wichita Arms 316 265 0661. They make custom sights for 1911s and what I have seen are nice.

  You might try Power Custom near K.C. Mo. , I believe they are on line also. Wilson also has fine products.
