I would like to know what you guys think is the best bore cleaner. I am using Sweets 7.62 for copper and Butches for everything else. I think they do a good job, just like to know if there is something better out there. Also, has anybody heard of or tried "Blue Wonder" bore cleaner?

Shooter's Choice and Sweets 7.62. Rifle barrels that appear clean and a patch comes out that way, but with a light I can see copper in the grooves at the bore, I use the Outers Foul Out System. The rod always has copper on it with the job is done, and no more in the grooves.

Jonk, I have been using Butch's Bore Shine and like it a lot. Usual drill, swab wet, let set while you read your favorite gunmag for five minutes, run a dry patch and repeat until patchs come through clean. Does a fine job, safe for bluing, but probably better not to drip it on oil finished stocks, or it will leave a faint spot. I like not having to use two different cleaners to do the job.

Hoppes Number 9 Copper Solvent and bore cleaner followed by KLP Breakfree. After a full match I always use Sweet's 7.62 to truly scrub the bore. Beach

Same here with Butch's. However, recently I have come up against some stuff that it wouldnt even cut, took nine days and a home made foul out system to clean that barrel on my Eddystone, that sucked bad. When I finally used the Butch's as the solvent with the foul out rig, it really worked good though.Oh yes, watch out for the finish of certain wood items, it will do a number on your wood floors if you get any on it. Havent had a problem with my stocks, cause I take the barrel off the stock.
