8 & 10 rnd. mags. for Rem. mdl. 760?

Do the higher capacity clips function O.K., or are they undependable? I read somewhere that the clips for the 742 and the 760 are interchangable, with the only difference being that the 760 clips won't hold the bolt open on the 742 after the last round has been fired?

  Gizz, I bought a 10 rounder back around 1982 or 83, It works just fine in my 760 30-06
