Can't help, but will say that the way the barrels are fixed to the breech end is called "monobloc construction". It's a very valid and often used method for inexpensive and moderate priced shotguns. If there's a rib, look closely for a name inscribed on it. I would say it's quite unusual to find a piece with no markings (other than that Serial Nbr?) unless someone with a buffer has really worked out on it.

Can you find any "proof marks" on the shotgun, they should be on the barrels???If you can describe any proof marks that might be present, then at least we may be able to give you the country of origin.

The barrels have no marks on them, I went over them with a magnifying glass. On the rib it has little marks all the way down looks similar to tire tracks. Other than the serial # the only mark I can find is on the back lug -35 front lug 22 and a large X with an arrow on each side pointing outward. If you would like to see a picture let me know. Thanks. Robcrystal@skybest.com. One more thing I'm sure it still has orginal finish so it has not been bufffed.
