1911 type for around $600

Just wondering, with all the different clones out there, what is the best type of 1911 style available for about $600?

  I've bought a blue and a stainless Detonics off the auction site for 325 and 450 (the gent that sold the Detonics MK VI had it listed as a Detonic)and 2 gold cups, one a series 80 for 625 and a series 70 for 700. The Detonics are superb for CC and the colts - are really hard to beat.Happy hunting!

  I bought a Kimber Custom for $669 + tax and I love it. Shoots great and no problems at all.-Marcus
