Remington 541 T Bolt action .22 lr
I have the option to buy a Remington 541 T Bolt action .22 lr, is this a accurate gun? I would need at least a 1" or better group at 50 yards? Will this shhot that with a scope?

if not, theres something wrong with it 0 -
The 541 t & s are popular rifles for shooting NRA .22 rifle silhouette. My son has one, and it is extremely accurate. With match grade ammo, and a t-16 Weaver scope, it will shoot 1" groups pretty regulary at 100 yds.

I have a 541-T and a 1 inch group at 50 yards would make me think my scope had came loose. The gun is capable of all 5 rounds touching or in the same hole and I am not that good, it's the gun. I do see a difference with different ammo. Mine shoots best with Remington/Eley match and Federal Gold Medal. I would suggest getting several different brands and grades of ammo and see what shoots best in yours. The really good stuff ain't cheap. Buy the gun, it's a lot of fun. 0
