real value for 1894M

My buddy is spliting up with his old lady and needs to sell a gun in order to get her back to Pa. He has a Marlin model 1894M lever action 22 magnum.Since these guns weren't made for more than a couple of years and have since been discontinued, I was wondering how much collecter value they have over the Blue book value, thanks for the help in advance....
