DL#'s on shotguns

Hey everybody,I've bought 2 beautiful remington shotguns at the gun show, the only problem is the previous owners engraved their DL# on them with an engraving gun.They are not really visible,unless the guns are broken down but I would like to remove them if possible. Any ideals? As always thanks for the input.

  You can always etch it out, but whats the big deal if its not in plain sight anyway?-smooth

  Hey Smooth, I get paranoid if my guns get stolen and then recovered then they might get in touch with previous owner and then he might be lonely for them!
