    No reason at all other than you drop the value by about 30% the first time you pull the trigger, which increases the values of mine since that makes one more out there that is off the market as NIB condition.

    Its your dime, spend it anyway you want to.They make the guns to shoot, and or to collect.Shooters make collecter's more money. Collector's make shooter's a nice gun to shoot.

    Look for a Winchester 94 Classic (I'm pretty sure that's what they were called). These were made in the mid to late 60's. I believe they were introduced with the Canadian centenial commemorative. They were regular production guns. Octagon rifle length barrel, crescent buttplate, Gold plated loading gate. I see them at shows every now and then for around $350.00. The commemorative guns are setting a bit pricey to be shooting the unfired ones.WOODS
