When I go out and buy something for my handguns, the first person I talk to are my LEO buddies.Because the nature of their job requires them to carry a weapon, I would assume they have the best equipment for carry and comfort. My best friend, a LEO, wear his Fobus with pants, belt, even gym shorts, and it holds just fine.I just bought 2 Fobus online, and I'll let you know how mine perform as soon as they get here.

I wear a Fobus paddle holster and a Fobus paddle magazine holder everyday. No problem.......(someday I hope to get a carry permit here in NJ so that I may actually carry a gun in it, lol.)-Charlie

Would you guys recommend the paddle, does it fit snugly against your hip?Or should I go for a belt model, I can get blade tech for $20 bucks more. Is the extra $$ worth it?Paul

I carry daily. Tried the roto paddle w/my Commander and found it inadequate for this pistol in particular. They tend to grip the pistol quite low which allows for alot of movement. A quality rig will hold the pistol snug to your side.

Well I went for the paddle. You get more flexibility on what you can wear with the paddle, as i made a reference to in an arlier post. Again, I haven't tried mine yet, but just that reason alone changed my mind.

One more thing to add...I just talked to another of my LEO friends. He does have a complaint about the Fobus holster....He says that after a while the tension starts to slip. The constant in & out of the pistol weakens the grip over time, and there's no way to correct that. "At first, my G22 woudn't come out at all. Now (about 10 months later), if i hold it upside down my gun will fall out." - his exact words. You may want to consider an Uncle Mike's Paddle Holster. Practically the same in design, only they have adjustable tension screws, so you can adjuct how tight the gun is held in place. At this point, wish I had.

Just got a fobus in the mail about three days ago. Obviously not long enough for it to loosen up, but it sure as heck holds the gun tight. Can be worn with anything from a pair of shorts to slacks...with or without a belt. stays in place, and holds the gun tight. in my opinion, if you've got $20 to spend, go for it. I like the paddle a bit more than the roto holster...the roto one sticks out about an inch further from the body. harder to conceal

What about Galco? Are they too spendy? What is their rep?

psantos & niklasal, Just a little tip. Don't store your handgun in the Fobus holster. They will stretch over a period of time and like niklasal's LEO buddy said, they will tend to loose their "grip" after time. I've been using Fobus for 4 months, now, carring a Glock 21, and I'm VERY satisfied with the comfort level. It sure beats that Damned fanny pack I had to wear because of all the weight I put on after I quit smoking. Best of luck.Tideman

For my Glock 19 I looked at both the regular paddle and the Roto (which is what I thought I was going to buy). The Roto sticks out a bit more so I got the regular paddle. Love it!

The Roto paddle sticks out a bit farther than the std paddle, which I'm very happy with.
