I own two. One is stainless the other is Bright stainless. I think they are two of the best made firearms out there. The stainless one could use a better trigger job, but they are deadly accurate and very reliable. The only thing bad about them is it is getting a little harder to find ammo for them. Its not too hard but I was used to buying it in KMart ( 1989-1993) or thereabouts. Blazer and Remington still make it plentiful out there in 180 grain and 200 grain bullets. I would recomend them highly and they are more powerful than people think. On the big scale I would put them between the .357 and 41 mag. The main reason they are not as popular anymore is because the 40cal (10mm short) can be shot off of a 9mm platform and the 10mm cannot. And I am sure recoil had something to do with it also but really its not a whole lot more than a .45. If you get the chance you should get one. You will be very impressed. Nov 2, 1987 I bought a blued Delta Elite. I had it all the way until 1997. I sold it to a friend who still has it and when it finally jams that will be the first time. So far approx 1800 rds have gone through it that I know of. Hope this helps.

Is this gun worth 850.00? There's one going for 850.00 bright stainless and 99%, should I buy it? Carbide8

It's at the upper end on value....then again, supply and demand will dictate what it will bring....you might look a long time before finding another one. I've got a 10mm Springfield Omega, first class round that really has some poop...I've used Hornady factory ammo in mine...good stuff.

According to the Blue book it is worth: 828.00 in 100% nib. I myself knowing how good they are I would say go for it. That model is no longer made and I can't see it going nowhere but up. I will make you a deal. If you don't like it I will buy it from you for the same as you paid for it. OK?

I've got reloading dies (used but in excellent condition) for the 10mm, RCBS and a bunch of like new brass, some new brass, and good reloads for sale. They were for my son and he sold his 10mm. Mike
