Enfield (Albion) revolver
Dragged home another pawn shop special and now I need some help. Albion-made WWII British Enfield service revolver but this one is a snub-nosed variation. Gun isn't handy to measure but the barrel is only about 2 inches. Have examined closely with a magnifying glass and can't see any evidence of cut and reweld. So what is it? Heard something about post-war police trial revolvers with factory short barrels. Any info much appreciated. What do you think it's worth? THANKS

Small numbers of these were made for special purposes, notably police use in such places as Hong Kong. Look carefully for markings other than the standard British Proof marks. 0
