32 L.C. Marlin
Saw a rifle in a store yesterday that intriqued me. It was a Marlin 1892, I didn't see the caliber on the rifle but the tag said 32L.C. The gun was on consignment so the guy behind the counter didn't have alot of info on it. Is this the same as a 32 Long pistol, or the 32-20? It seemed to be a take down model, in very nice shape too. Is it worth $500? Thanks

IT PROBABLY IS .32 LONG COLT, THESE CAME WITH TWO FIRING PINS, SO YOU COULD ALSO USE .32 RIM FIRE BY JUST CHANGING THE PIN. AT $500 IT SHOULD BE IN PRETTY GOOD CONDITION. 0 -
If you plan on shooting it check the availability of 32 Long Colt ammo. Its essentially obsolete and a different animal from the more popular 32S&W or 32S&W Long. If you love the gun and really want to do a bit of shooting, you can have it rechambered for the 32S&W Long which you can reload to at least 1200fps in a rifle. It could be a fun gun. 0
